About Me...
I was born in the province of Quebec. I am from an extended family and I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Growing up in such family taught me great values about life such as, responsible, autodidact, perseverance, sociable, dynamic, leadership, initiative, and creativity. I went to an elementary and secondary school in Quebec City. During my five years of high school in Quebec, I was in a special sport program. I swam with the swimming club C.S.Q. every day for a total of 30 hours a week. I achieved a high level and wanted to try something else. After my DES, I registered for Ste-Foy College in language and literature. I stayed in this program only one year because I wanted to improve my English skills. I subscribed for ‘A year abroad’ with the EF foundation. I went to Zalma, MO a very small town near St-Louis. I lived there for 11 months while going to school. I graduated out of High school again but with Zalma R-V School. This diploma allowed me to skip college when I got back home in Quebec. Unfortunately, I was not ready to make a choice on my career yet. I decided to work and live on my own in order to find out what I really wanted to do for the rest of my life. I worked during a few years. I needed inspiration so I started university in Trois-Rivères (UQTR) doing a Bachelor degree in Administration. I interrupted my degree before reading week because I realized that it was not my vocation. I waited another semester and enrolled at Laval University for the B.E.A.L.S. (Baccalauréat en Enseignement de l’Anglais Langue Seconde) program. I have started my bachelor degree in september 2010. Since then, my passion for teaching is always growing.

HOBBIES outside of teaching ☺︎
SNOWBOARDING
I love snowboarding. This is one of my favorite sports. I have been practicing this sport for 7 years now. I usually ride at Mont-Ste-Anne due to the fact that I have a lot of friends there who share the same passion. On a sunny day of early spring season, you might find me somewhere on the mountain! SWIMMING I have been swimming for a very long time. I first started while I was 8 years old in the youth section of a swimming club in Duberger called C.S.Q. I swam with this club until I attended college. Now, I like to go swimming on my own just to relax and feel the water run down my skin. I was mainly a long distance swimmer, which means that I swam in lakes and rivers quite a lot. |
SNOWSHOEING
I have been practicing snowshoeing for a few years now. I do not have my own equipment yet. Maybe it will be my next Christmas gift. Snowshoeing is a relaxing outdoor activity to do with friends during a nice and sunny day. This picture was taken at The Gallix Ski Station in Sept-Îles, Québec. TRAVELLING
Since I reached the age to travel by myself, there is nothing that can stop me! All I need is my passport and my camera and I am ready to discover our planet. World here I come!!! |
